Urban Air Cordova is seeking a Café Lead to oversee shift operations for the Urban Air Café, primarily in the kitchen and service area. You will cook, prepare, and serve food while guiding the Cafe Team to deliver consistent quality with urgency and a friendly guest focus.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and adherence to standards, including safety, cleanliness, and efficient service during busy periods.

Formación

• Six months to one year of food and beverage experience
• One year of leadership experience preferred
• Current ServSafe or similar certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days

Responsabilidades

• Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
• Ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged when the Café Manager is not present
• Maintain storage, and rotation to minimize wastage
• Manage the Café Team, ensuring they always work to the expected standards
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and stay beyond when business requires
• Train Café Team in menu prep and front-of-house drinks/food to high standards
• Set a high standard for punctuality, attendance, and attitude
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene with regular deep cleans
• Keep Café and storage areas well organized and accessible
• Handle guest concerns in absence of the Café Manager
• Participate in staff meetings and training as required
