Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in the food service industry.
• Minimum five (5) years of management experience in food service.
• High School Diploma required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food service operations, food handling and safety regulations in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent stress management and ability to maintain composure.
• Ability to prioritize workload, solve problems quickly and interact with others to achieve efficient, seamless workflow.
• Must pass NCIC background check.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Subject to random drug screens throughout employment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Core Monday through Friday schedule with occasional evening or weekend hours as job duties demand.
• Local travel may be required to procure goods as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Ensure compliance with all contract deliverables
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor COGs
• Recruit, train, and supervise café staff
• Coach and mentor under-performing staff and report personnel issues
• Ensure team members are fully trained and follow food handling and safety guidelines
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer needs are met
• Implement strategies to improve customer service for the FASTC community
• Complete administrative paperwork required by the company and contract
• Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working environment
• Perform subordinate duties as needed
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Supervise employees
