Job summary

Port City Java, Inc. seeks an experienced Café Manager to oversee operations at the Wilmington location. You will lead Baristas, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and ensure product quality while enforcing brand standards and local health requirements.

You will hire and train staff, build weekly schedules, manage cash handling and reporting, and participate in marketing and inventory processes to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a cafe or quick-service staff.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, payroll and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and satisfaction daily.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation to health standards.
• Enforce Food Safety regulations and ensure product quality.
• Lead Baristas and staff; implement operational programs and brand standards.
• Hire, train, coach, and discipline Café staff as needed.
• Prepare weekly schedules and manage staffing for 8–15 staff per café.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to policies.
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings and monthly inventories.
• Handle cash, card, and gift transactions and related reporting.
