Port City Java, Inc. in Apex, NC seeks a Café Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure brand standards are upheld. You will lead a team of 8–15 baristas, drive customer service excellence, and manage scheduling, training, and financial performance.

Responsibilities include marketing program execution, inventory and payroll tasks, health/food safety compliance, and maintaining high sanitation levels while delivering a superior guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a cafe or restaurant team.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to hire, train and schedule staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cafe operations and ensure brand standards are met.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage Baristas and cafe staff.
• Write weekly schedules and manage payroll, inventory, and reporting.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain cleanliness.
• Execute local marketing programs and drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit and gift card transactions with accuracy.
