Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe San Francisco is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-volume cafe, uphold brand standards, and drive guest experience. You will oversee P&L, mentor hourly staff, and align labor with forecasts, while partnering across teams to ensure consistent service excellence.

You will coach, develop career paths, and implement learning programs to retain top talent and deliver consistent guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an Operations Managerial role with high-volume exposure in a casual-themed, full-service restaurant.
• Ability to learn and bring out-of-the-box ideas to their team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of business acumen and common sense.
• Strong problem solving skills to diagnose and implement solutions.
• Fluency in English; multilingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate financial comprehension of the cafe’s budget and P&L.
• Serve as a mentor and coach to develop hourly staff into Hard Rock brand ambassadors and customer service stewards.
• Manage labor schedules in line with the cafe’s budget and forecast models.
• Successfully run a department and/or cost center.
• Partner across departments to deliver all products and services to brand standards.
• Support senior management in building a highly functional hourly team.
• Execute brand standards within the Rock Shop and grow retail sales through staff and guest interaction.
• Foster an environment of guest service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Engage with guests about music, current and past.
