Job summary

Macy's Foods Cafe is seeking a Foods Supervisor to lead daily cafe operations, ensuring safety, sanitation, and high-quality food and beverage standards. You will coach team members, uphold American hospitality expectations, and collaborate with leadership to drive sales, profitability, and compliance.

This role requires flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays. You will model Macy's selling behaviors, train and develop staff, and maintain a welcoming cafe environment while focusing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is encouraged; retail, food service or customer service experience is preferred.
• ServSafe certification or food handler permit as required by state/local health department.
• Experience in retail, food service, or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as part of cafe operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cafe operations with safety, sanitation, and product quality standards.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by modeling Macy's selling behaviors.
• Train, coach, and motivate colleagues to maximize performance and development.
• Ensure consistent preparation, presentation, and merchandising of all food and beverages.
• Monitor labor productivity and balance service needs with cost control.
