Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking a friendly Café Associate to create and serve food and beverages, keep the Café clean, and deliver the highest level of customer service and hospitality to our members. You will greet guests, promote daily specials, handle payments, and work with a team to maintain a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service in the food service industry, state food handler certification, and a certification in Responsible Beverage Service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of Customer Service experience (food service industry experience preferred).
• Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.
• Self-motivated and proactive with attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter and exit the Café.
• Create and serve food and beverage items.
• Promote daily specials and upgrades to orders.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Café opening and closing duties as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per food safety standards.
• Anticipate and respond to members and guests’ needs with exceptional service.
• Represent the club professionally through image and communication.
• Schedule varies and may include weekends and holidays.
