Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to own store operations, lead and develop a hospitality team, and uphold product quality and guest experience in Boston.

You’ll manage scheduling, training, inventory, vendor relations, and local compliance while driving sales and store performance. The role requires 4+ years leading single-store operations in fast-growing brands, a passion for coffee, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store unit operations in high growth hospitality or consumer brands.
• Full Time availability: 45 hours per week, 5 days, with 2 peak days (often weekends).
• Salary range posted: $70,000–$80,000 per year with standard company benefits.
• Experience hiring, developing and managing hospitality teams.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create a motivating team culture through training, coaching and mentoring.
• Cover scheduling gaps and publish staff schedules per local labor laws.
• Review timecards and PTO to ensure accurate and on-time pay.
• Recruit talent in collaboration with the People Team.
• Maintain food and beverage quality standards and audit readiness.
