Job summary

Durango Casino & Resort is seeking a part-time Cafe Cook for Wildfire Boulder. The role supports the Executive Chef and team, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen while preparing meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, and other dishes.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of cook experience in a high-volume restaurant and must obtain required work cards, with strong attention to detail and good judgment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years Cook experience in a high volume restaurant.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards, demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports the Executive Chef, Asst. Executive Chef, Room Chef and Asst. Room Chef.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen area and equipment.
• Assists in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, steaming all meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, etc.
• Keeps the kitchen area clean and stocked, including cold items.
• Ensures kitchen and equipment are in good working order.
