Job summary

Durango Casino & Resort seeks a Tavern Line Cook (Part-Time) for Seventy Six Union Village in Las Vegas, NV to support a high-volume kitchen.

You will assist the Executive Chef, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and prepare meats, fish, vegetables, and other items with attention to quality and speed. This role offers hands-on cooking in a fast-paced hospitality setting with a focus on teamwork and consistent execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years Cook experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards, demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports the Executive Chef, Asst. Executive Chef, Room Chef and Asst. Room Chef.
• Supports chefs in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, steaming meats, fish, eggs and vegetables.
• Maintain cleanliness of area and keep cold items stocked.
• Ensure kitchen area and equipment are in good working order.
