Job summary

Daily Provisions, part of USHG, is seeking a Café Chef to lead our BOH operations at Daily Provisions in Boston. You will uphold Enlightened Hospitality, coach the BOH team, and ensure high-quality execution of our culinary program daily.

The role requires 3+ years of kitchen leadership in casual dining, superb food and beverage knowledge, and ability to train staff. You will partner with FOH/BOH, manage costs, and maintain HACCP and ServSafe standards while fostering a culture of respect and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of culinary/kitchen leadership in casual dining.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge and guest-experience focus.
• Experience training and developing Back of House team members.
• Strong communication across all teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Hospitality certification or equivalent preferred.
• English fluency; additional languages optional.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Enlightened Hospitality to guests and staff.
• Partner with Front of House and Back of House to enforce systems, routines, and checklists.
• Collaborate with Facilities on equipment and HACCP compliance.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for ordering and inventory.
• Own Back of House P&L and manage food costs and waste.
• Train and validate team members, conduct station checks, and lead tastings.
• Foster professional communication and HR policy adherence.
• Support Front of House operations as needed.
