Job summary

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a CADD Support Consultant to provide user support, troubleshoot ServiceNow tickets, and assist with software installation and workspace setup. The role involves developing CADD best practices, guides, and training sessions for GDOT engineers and staff.

The position supports GDOT standards, with a mix of on-site and remote work in a hybrid environment. Prior Bentley software experience and strong documentation skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience supporting CADD software development, testing, and implementation.
• 2 years documenting/revising business processes for CADD software requirements.
• Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, InRoads, MicroStation SS2, CAiCE and MicroStation.
• Experience providing CADD user support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day CADD user support and troubleshoot ServiceNow tickets.
• Assist with software installation and external user workspace setup.
• Support GDOT engineering software standards and documentation.
• Develop and document CADD best practices, workflows, and how-to guides.
• Assist in developing and conducting CADD software/workspace training sessions.
• Support the development, testing, and implementation of CADD software.
• Investigate emerging CADD technologies and recommend solutions to GDOT personnel and management.
• Document and revise business processes to support new and revised CADD software requirements.
