Job summary

Ubertal Inc. seeks a CADD Support Consultant in Atlanta, GA on a 1-year hybrid contract. Under general supervision, the role analyzes customer needs and assists in planning, design, and implementation of CADD systems, focusing on Bentley OpenRoads Designer and OpenBridge Modeler.

You will provide day-to-day user support via ServiceNow, install software, maintain standards, and contribute to training. Experience with the listed Bentley products and Python/VB is required, with a preference for

Qualifications

• 2+ years documenting and revising business processes for CADD software.
• 2+ years supporting development, testing, and implementation of CADD software.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge, InRoads, MicroStation SS2, CAICE, and MicroStation.
• 3+ years of experience with Visual Basic or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day user support via ServiceNow and manage software installations.
• Assist external users with workspace installation procedures.
• Maintain engineering software standards and documentation.
• Develop and conduct CADD software and workspace training sessions.
• Evaluate new CADD technologies and recommend implementation strategies.

Position Title: CADD Support Consultant

Location: Atlanta, GA

Role Overview

Under general supervision, the CADD Support Consultant analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design, and implementation of new or enhanced CADD systems. The position assists organizational personnel with the support, development, testing, and implementation of CADD software and workspaces. Primary focus is placed on Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Bentley OpenBridge Modeler, with additional support provided for legacy workspaces including Bentley InRoads, MicroStation SS2, CAICE, and Bentley MicroStation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day user support, including troubleshooting user issues via ServiceNow and handling software installations.


• Assist external users with workspace installation procedures.


• Maintain engineering software standards and documentation, establishing best practice workflows and how-to guidelines.


• Help develop and conduct CADD software and workspace user training sessions as required.


• Evaluate new and emerging CADD technologies and provide implementation recommendations to management.


• Document and update business processes to align with new or revised CADD software requirements.


• Establish best practices for CADD software usage.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience documenting and revising business processes to meet CADD software requirements.


• 2+ years of experience supporting the development, testing, and implementation of CADD software.


• 2+ years of hands-on experience with CADD software packages (Bentley OpenRoads Designer, Bentley OpenBridge, Bentley InRoads, MicroStation SS2, CAICE, and Bentley MicroStation).


• 3+ years of experience with Visual Basic or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the public sector or transportation sector.


• Background in transportation engineering.


• Strong preference for Python programming skills.

Additional Details

Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule based out of Atlanta, GA.
