Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a seasoned Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination on transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate models across architecture, structures, roadway design and MEP into a federated, clash-checked deliverable, using Navisworks and the Autodesk suite.

You will mentor staff, develop BIM Execution Plans, and ensure model integrity and adherence to standards while interfacing with clients and agencies to meet deliverable requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish, document, and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff; provide design sketches for finished drawings.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and model-based deliverable scoping.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
• Verify intelligent model integrity, manage versioning, and interoperability.
• Review manufacturers' or fabricators' prints for design aid.
