Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an intelligent modeling coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate cross-discipline deliverables across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash‑checked model.

You will lead clash detection in Navisworks, enforce BIM standards, mentor staff, and integrate models across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets to deliver quality design data and coordination throughout the project

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design and MEP.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Coordinate model deliverables and data handoff with clients and subconsultants.
• Perform model health checks and ensure interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
• Review prints and determine material needs per project standards
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on LOE and LOD for deliverables
