Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a federated, clash-checked master model.

The role includes running Navisworks clash detection, enforcing CADD/BIM standards, mentoring staff, developing BIM Execution Plans, and coordinating with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and resolve issues across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for finished drawings.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on LOE and model scope.
• Interface with clients, agencies and subconsultants on deliverable requirements.
