Job summary

New Era Custom Design and Cabinet Works Inc., a local architectural millwork subcontractor serving the Baltimore/Washington/Virginia areas, seeks an AUTOCAD Drafter/Engineer to join the Frederick, MD office. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, reading architectural plans, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

You will produce submittal drawings for architect/designer review, coordinate construction specifications, and learn cabinet CAM software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with architectural plans
• Understanding and knowledge of building sections, plans, and elevations (Architectural plans)
• Comprehension of practical aspects of engineering and construction techniques
• Capacity to manage construction specifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittal drawings for architect/designer review
• Coordinate construction specifications
