Job summary

New Era Custom Design and Cabinet Works Inc., a local architectural millwork subcontractor serving the Baltimore/Washington/Virginia areas, seeks an AUTOCAD Drafter/Engineer to join the Frederick, MD office. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, reading architectural plans, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

You will produce submittal drawings for architect/designer review, coordinate construction specifications, and learn cabinet CAM software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with architectural plans
• Understanding and knowledge of building sections, plans, and elevations (Architectural plans)
• Comprehension of practical aspects of engineering and construction techniques
• Capacity to manage construction specifications

We specialize in custom woodworking and store fixturing for commercial and retail spaces. Our company is a full service architectural subcontractor that includes wood moldings, custom wall panels, reception desks, custom cabinetry, ect. Our team is looking for skilled AUTOCAD Technicians that know and understand drawing commands and can read construction/building plans. New Era is headquartered in Frederick, MD since 1979. We are looking for a full time CAD operators

Job Description:
