Job summary

44 Custom Woodworx is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer/Drafter to develop detailed floor plans, cabinetry drawings, and millwork shop drawings for high-end residential and commercial projects. The role requires translating architectural plans and field dimensions into fabrication-ready drawings with precise dimensions and materials.

You will create 3D renderings and work closely with the fabrication team to ensure drawings reflect exact construction methods and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with detailed shop drawing experience.
• Experience in cabinetry, millwork, or interior construction is preferred.
• Ability to translate plans and field dimensions into fabrication-ready drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organized drawing packages.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed AutoCAD floor plans and cabinetry layouts
• Produce cabinet and architectural millwork shop drawings
• Create plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
• Identify dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and components
• Develop 3D models and renderings for client presentations
• Interpret drawings, specs, and interior design documents
• Coordinate cabinetry with plumbing, electrical, and countertops
• Revise drawings based on field conditions and comments
