Job summary

INNERGY in a fully remote setup seeks an Engineering Library Specialist to configure, validate, and maintain client libraries using Microvellum Toolbox and INNERGY Engineering.

You will coach clients, build product data, machining rules, and design standards, and adapt to varying technical skills while keeping documentation up to date.

This role offers flexible remote work within the US and opportunities to influence how design-to-manufacturing workflows improve for wood products.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAD/CAM, engineering software, or architectural millwork.
• Hands-on time with Microvellum Toolbox, INNERGY Engineering, or AutoCAD-based tools.
• Solid grasp of engineering libraries: how to configure, validate, and maintain them.
• Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to anyone, from power users to clients who are still getting comfortable with software.
• Experience training and supporting clients both in person and remotely.
• Strong organization and time management. You can run several client engagements at once without losing track of any of them.
• Patience and empathy with clients, plus a habit of measuring your success by their results.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and hold regular check-ins to review progress in Toolbox and INNERGY Engineering.
• Build and validate libraries: product data, machining rules, and design standards; work in client libraries when needed.
• Train and support clients with guidance on using Toolbox and Engineering; collaborate with Content Creation for training materials.
• Meet clients where they are; adjust approach for varying technical levels and provide extra support as needed.
• Maintain steady communication during onboarding and validation; document progress, issues, and fixes for the wider support team.
• Identify and fix issues in library setup and usage; provide practical solutions to improve workflows.
• Contribute client feedback to development and content teams to improve library management and the client experience.
