Job summary

Core4ce Careers is seeking a Nutrition Coordinator to support the Children Services team in Idaho. The role focuses on CACFP administration, nutrition planning, and staff training to ensure compliance with federal guidelines.

You will work with cross-functional staff to monitor meal patterns, complete required surveys, and implement quality improvements in nutrition services for children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to pursue continuing education and professional development.
• Minimum three years of experience in CACFP monitoring regulations.
• Working knowledge of the CACFP Idaho Nutrition Manual.
• Ability to interpret and comply with Head Start Performance Standards and conduct standards.
• Administrative skills to organize and monitor programs.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Treat participants and staff with respect.
• Administer CACFP/USDA programs.
• Enter meal counts and complete annual CACFP applications.
• Provide nutrition training and technical assistance to staff, parents and volunteers.
• Ensure trainings on Civil Rights and Meal Pattern requirements are completed.
• Attend CACFP trainings to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with nutrition agencies and resources.
• Develop monitoring plans and training for food service staff.
• Monitor religious food accommodations and perform CACFP inspections.
• Perform nutrient surveys and price comparisons; support nutrition program operations.
• Support ongoing program evaluation and planning processes.
