Job summary

Children’s Hunger Alliance is seeking a CACFP Program Specialist to support and expand the CACFP across Northwest Ohio. You will work with childcare centers and home providers to deliver training, ensure compliance, and provide ongoing support to help children access nutritious meals.

The role involves extensive travel within Northwest Ohio, collaboration with state agencies and CHA regulations, and development of training materials and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level education is not required if experience is strong, but an Associate’s degree or higher is expected.
• Strong communication and organization skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel throughout Northwest Ohio is required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train childcare centers and family providers participating in CACFP.
• Conduct on-site monitoring reviews and provider visits.
• Provide technical assistance and ensure program compliance and proper documentation.
