Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nutrition, Child Development/Early Childhood Education or 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience with structured childcare programs and training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train childcare centers staff and family childcare providers.
• Conduct on-site monitoring reviews of childcare centers and in-home reviews of family childcare providers.
• Provide technical assistance and customer service to ensure program requirements are met.
• Review and process all required paperwork.
• Monitor and process disallowances on monthly claims.
• Train providers on the Minute Menu system.
• Conduct and report outreach activities for childcare centers and family childcare providers.
• Conduct and report center and provider resource distribution.
• Maintain organized electronic files for each childcare center and family childcare provider.
• Develop and maintain community contacts to increase CACFP awareness and resources.
• Maintain knowledge of CACFP regulations and related policies.
• Submit timely weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports to supervisors.
• Assist in developing promotional and program resources.
• Participate in regional, state, and team meetings.
• Follow Ohio law regarding reporting suspected child abuse/neglect.
