General Job Description

Do you have experience working with low voltage wiring? Are you interested in electronics? A great local company is expanding, and we are seeking candidates for a cable technician position. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidates who can work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision, are preferred. Problem-solving skills are essential. Telecommunication experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for those interested in electronics or technology and seeking a career. Requirements

• Installing, testing, and troubleshooting voice and data wiring
• Experience with splicing and terminating copper and fiber optic cables
• Ability to read blueprints

• Experience with Paging, CCTV, Security systems is a plus
• Some networking knowledge is a plus
• BICSI Certified Installer or Technician is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with no DUI in the past 3 years
