Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Depot) FULL-TIME Remote Opportunity in Grand Forks, ND

  • Starting Wage: $39.00-$51.00/hr DOE (including 20% geo-modifier)
  • IA stipend: $2,080
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
  • Schedule: 14 days on/14 days off
  • Company paid travel to Grand Forks, ND - AMT can live anywhere in lower 48

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC-12 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required, and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience maintaining turboprop and/or turbine-powered aircraft.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and planning.
  • Possess basic aircraft mechanic tools and maintain accountability of personally owned tools per company policy.
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours maintenance or on-call support, which may include travel and working evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
  • Experience under CFR Parts 14 and 135.
  • Autopilot maintenance experience.
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience.
  • 10 years of experience maintaining turboprop and turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Experience with Beechcraft King Air, Pilatus PC12, and series turboprop maintenance.
