Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist in Omaha to assist customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will become the product expert, explain specifications, promotions and financing options to close sales while delivering exceptional service.

In this role you will work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more, supporting customers from inquiry to installation with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe's retail experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with defined sales goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift at least 25 lbs; team lifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customers' needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installer visits, and track orders.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
