Job summary

Lowe’s seeks a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand needs, and recommend home improvement solutions in-store. You will become the product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing options to close sales, while maintaining high service standards.

You will rotate through departments such as Appliances, Flooring, or Tools, collaborating with vendors and store teams to ensure an excellent customer experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process and track orders/installations, and follow up for completion.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Maintain inventory levels, work with vendors/stores to find merchandise and reorder stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation according to policy.
• Support checkout functions and department pages, respond to assistance requests.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs, answer questions, and communicate the advantages of Lowe’s products and services
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing and tracking customer orders/installations, and following up to ensure project completion.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales, working with vendors and other stores to find merchandise and order replacement stock
• Perform price reviews by pricing policies and ensure maintenance of pricing and documentation
• Support all checkout functions, call buttons, departmental pages, or requests for assistance
• Train associates in the department by conducting on-the-job training on the Sales floor and coaching around development needs
• Complete other duties as assigned
