Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products. You will become a product expert, explain features and financing options, and help close sales with strong consultative service.

You will work in one of several departments, handling inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating with installers or vendors as needed. The role supports growth and learning within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or more with assistance.
• Sales licensure/registration if required by state (Lowe’s supports and funds).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating advantages of Lowe's products.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates, installs, orders, and followups.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores for replacement stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/docs.
• Support checkout functions and assist requests.
• Train associates in the department and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
