Job summary

Jim Carpenter Company in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Cabinet Sales and Design Representative to guide clients from the initial consultation and space planning through design, product selection, pricing, ordering and installation.

You will collaborate with homeowners, builders and remodelers to create beautiful cabinetry that fits each client’s needs, style and budget, develop layouts, prepare estimates and coordinate with vendors and installers to manage projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

Cabinet Sales and Design Representative

Regular Full Time Fredericksburg, VA, US

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually

What we are looking for:

• Established relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, or other industry professionals in the Richmond area
• Experience networking with builder and remodeler associations
• Familiarity with Richmond area new-construction and remodeling
• Existing book of business
• Proven ability to generate new business
• Experience working with both trade customers and homeowners
• Field-measurement and plan-reading experience
• Knowledge of countertops, hardware, installation, and related products

What you will do:

In this role, you will guide clients through the entire cabinetry process—from the initial consultation and space planning to design, product selection, pricing, ordering, and installation. You will work directly with homeowners, builders, remodelers, contractors, and other industry professionals to create beautiful, functional cabinetry solutions that meet each client's needs, style, and budget.

Tasks Include

• Meet the clients to understand their needs, style, and budget.
• Develop cabinet layouts and detailed design plans.
• Assist clients with cabinet, countertop, hardware, and accessory selections.
• Prepare estimates and proposals.
• Jobsite field measurements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and installers.
