Job summary

Discovery Cove Orlando is seeking Ambassadors to welcome guests, share park information, and assist with check-in and check-out.

You will perform bag checks, provide informational tours for groups, and help with VIP coordination and events while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent English language written and verbal communication.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Excellent cash handling skills.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (Portuguese a plus).
• Experience in Discovery Cove Operations department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide park information.
• Perform guest check-in/check-out functions.
• Perform guest bag checks.
• Provide informational tours for small groups of up to 12 guests.
• Provide transportation to and from SeaWorld for guests in company vehicle.
• Size male/female guests to ensure proper fitting of swim gear.
• Prepare swim bags for children and adult guests.
• Maintaining Private Cabanas in both service and cleanliness.
• Assist with VIP coordination/special events.
• Quickly resolve guest challenges by providing exceptional guest service.
• Distribute available lockers to our guests, while maintaining cleanliness of locker facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness of all park areas including trash removal and sweeping.
• Conduct guest surveys.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We're seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become our Ambassadors.

What it takes to succeed:

• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Able to push/pull 50 pounds
• Able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
• Available to work 3 full days per week, including at least 1 weekend full day
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred
• Experience in Discovery Cove Operations department preferred
• Bilingual preferred (Portuguese a plus)
