Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Production Assembly worker for the C shift in Fairport, NY to set up and operate assembly equipment, including small hydraulic presses, drills, welding machines, and winders. The role includes rotating across cells and ensuring quality and safety.

You will pack finished products, maintain a clean work area, and participate in cell improvements. Minimum one year in assembly or lean manufacturing plus good manual dexterity and reading MSDS and work instructions are required;

Qualifications

• Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Packs finished product for shipment.
• Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
