Job summary

Qualitrol in the United States is seeking a manufacturing assembler to set up and operate multiple pieces of assembly equipment and rotate across cells as directed. The role involves packing finished products, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and actively contributing to cell improvements while adhering to quality standards.

Candidates should have basic English reading/writing skills, at least 1 year in assembly or lean manufacturing, and strong manual dexterity with reading/measuring

Qualifications

• Must have proficient English reading and writing skills; read MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Packs finished product for shipment.
• Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
