Job summary

Ralliant in Fairport, NY is seeking an Assembler for the C-shift to set up and operate assembly equipment, including hydraulic presses, staking machines, drill presses, welding machines, air tools, spin riveters, and winders.

The role requires at least 1 year in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment, manual dexterity, and the ability to read measuring devices and MSDS sheets. Training on A shift is required before moving to C shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of assembly/lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to C shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotate in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Pack finished product for shipment.
• Maintain work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participate in cell improvements.
