Job summary

Qualitrol in Fairport, NY is seeking an Assembler for the C-shift (10:30pm–7:00am). You will set up and operate assembly equipment including small hydraulic presses, drilling and welding devices, winders, and related tools.

Responsibilities include rotating through work cells, packing finished products, maintaining a safe, clean workspace, and contributing to cell improvements while following quality standards. A High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in assembly are preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
Able to read and follow MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
Able to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
Rotate in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
Pack finished product for shipment.
Maintain work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Actively participate in making and implementing cell improvements.
Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.
