Loyal Source Government Services is seeking an Examiner Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension disability examinations for Veterans applying for VA benefits in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

This role focuses on reviewing records, conducting focused exams, and documenting objective opinions, with a weekday schedule and approx 10% travel; no prescribing or ongoing patient management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Active, valid NP license in the United States, unrestricted.
• Minimum of one year of NP experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including renewals.
• Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient with medical records systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans per VA requirements.
• Review medical records and supporting documentation.
• Perform focused physical assessments.
• Prepare objective medical opinions and complete documentation.
• Utilize examination and case management systems to organize workload.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain compliance with VA training, HIPAA, and Loyal Source policies.
• Support other Loyal Source clinics as needed, with travel.
