Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist for flexible, evaluation-focused work with Veterans. This role conducts VA-era C&P assessments, reviews records, and performs structured audiology testing without ongoing patient care.

The position offers flexibility and the potential to supplement income, with in-person opportunities and no insurance billing. Applicants should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to maintain objectivity in reporting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Must have access to a calibrated audiometer for VA evaluations.
• Must have access to a diagnostic tympanometer.
• Master's Degree or higher in relevant field.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Objectivity in evaluations.
• Maryland CNC speech recognition testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing loss and tinnitus-related evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and obtain focused history.
• Perform audiometric testing and document findings.
• Prepare VA-form reports clearly and timely.
• Maintain boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Submit examination documentation within deadlines.
• Ensure ethical, legal and confidentiality compliance.
