Job summary

Baseline Energy Services, Lp seeks a Business Development Manager/Director, C&I in the U.S. to drive multi-year, behind-the-meter power solutions. You will lead technical sales, define power needs, and manage stakeholder-driven deals across EPCs, contractors, and engineers.

The role requires building a qualified pipeline, securing MSAs, and leading a BDM team where applicable, with travel 30–50%. Salesforce proficiency and a strong commercial mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical B2B sales.
• Experience with multi-year commercial agreements and complex buying committees.
• Strong understanding of power generation or electrical systems.
• Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM.
• Willingness to travel 30-50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan aligned with Baseline's commercial strategy and capital deployment priorities.
• Prospect and originate qualified opportunities with end users, EPCs, electrical contractors, and engineering firms across C&I verticals.
• Secure MSAs and preferred-provider relationships with new customers.
• Serve as a technical advisor to customers, defining power requirements, sizing, and deployment configurations.
• Maintain Salesforce data, stage, forecast timing, and deal economics; participate in deal reviews.
• Leadership expectation for Director level to grow and mentor the BDM team.
