Job summary

CRE Finance Council in Miami seeks a relationship-driven banker to acquire clients, expand existing relationships, and deliver C&I banking solutions to business owners. A strong C&I lending background and ability to structure working capital and term financing are essential.

The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of business relationships, collaborate with Credit and Treasury Management, and develop a local Centers of Influence network to drive deposits and lending growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business/commercial banking or C&I lending.
• Hands-on C&I lending experience is required.
• Experience financing operating businesses: working capital, lines of credit, term loans, equipment financing.
• Ability to develop and manage relationships with business owners and commercial clients.
• Experience with both commercial lending and business deposits.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and BSA/AML requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, acquire, and grow C&I relationships in the local market, focusing on operating businesses.
• Prospect for new business via referrals, networking, and Centers of Influence.
• Serve as primary relationship contact for assigned clients with executives and decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities to increase the bank's share of wallet across C&I loans, deposits, and treasury services.
• Generate C&I loan opportunities (working capital lines of credit, revolving facilities, term loans).
• Develop and maintain core business deposit relationships (checking, savings, money market).
• Partner with Treasury Management to identify cash management solutions.
• Analyze business financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and credit history.
• Structure and recommend C&I credit solutions; coordinate credit packages and underwriting.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality and conduct periodic reviews.
• Represent the bank at local organizations and events.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
