New Edge Associates seeks a relationship-focused banker in Florida to acquire and expand C&I lending with small and middle-market businesses. You will analyze financials, structure working capital and term financing, and deliver comprehensive banking solutions including deposits and treasury management.

The role emphasizes developing a local network, serving as a trusted advisor, and driving new business while ensuring credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business banking, commercial banking, C&I lending, or relationship management experience.
• Hands-on C&I lending experience is required.
• Strong experience financing operating businesses (working capital, revolving lines, term loans, equipment financing).
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business, rather than only servicing an inherited portfolio.
• Experience with commercial lending and business deposits; knowledge of treasury management.

Responsabilités

• Develop, acquire, and grow relationships with small and middle-market businesses in the local market, focusing on C&I and operating relationships.
• Prospect for new business through referrals, networking, centers of influence, and direct development.
• Serve as primary relationship contact for assigned clients and build long-term relationships with owners and decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet across C&I loans, deposits, treasury mgmt, and other products.
• Generate new C&I loan opportunities (working capital lines, revolvers, term loans, equipment financing).
• Develop core business deposits (checking, savings, money market).
• Partner with Treasury Management to implement cash management and other solutions.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, debt service, collateral, and credit history.
• Structure and recommend C&I credit solutions based on needs and credit standards.
• Prepare/coordinate credit packages and loan applications; work with Credit/Underwriting to close deals.
• Maintain portfolio with periodic reviews and monitor covenants and credit quality.
• Develop pipeline and meet loan production, deposit growth, and relationship goals.
• Build local Centers of Influence relationships and participate in community/business events.
