Job summary

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Richmond, VA is looking for a part-time Busser to join our dining team. You will help ensure a smooth dining flow, assist servers, reset tables between guests, and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere in the dining room.

Responsibilities include supporting the kitchen and dining staff, carving select entrees table-side, and helping with station upkeep and closing tasks to ensure a pristine service environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced dining environment preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed and pleasant.
• Provide a professional, inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees.
• Assist with delivery and serving of all food items to guests using pivot point system.
• Remove soiled dishes and utensils between courses.
• Ensure tables are clear, cleaned and reset promptly between seatings.
• Carve entrees including pork chops, Chateaubriand and bone-in NY strip table-side.
• Assist kitchen staff with restocking silverware and plate ware and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist with kitchen close-out and return of items to coolers.

TheBusserposition is about:

• Ensuring the guest dining experience, as a whole, is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant.
• Providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees.
• Assist with delivery and serving of all food items to appropriate guests utilizing pivot point system.
• Removes soiled dishes and utensils between courses.
• Ensure that tables are clear, cleaned, and reset promptly between seating.
• Carve appropriate entrees including pork chops, Chateaubriand and bone-in New York strip steaks table-side for guests.
• Assist chef team with continual upkeep of kitchen including restocking of appropriate silverware and plate ware, cleaning of all surfaces and floors throughout kitchen.
• Assist chef team with the closing of the kitchen, including the return of all appropriate food items to their locations in coolers.
