Job summary

Spire Hospitality LLC is seeking a friendly Busser to support our Food & Beverage team at our Jersey location. You will deliver food from the kitchen to tables with a smile, ensuring a delightful dining experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include preparing trays, verifying orders, and maintaining an immaculate dining area. Prior hospitality experience is not required, though preferred, and a Food Handlers Certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• No prior hospitality experience required; prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.

• Deliver best-in-class service to guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Prepare food and beverage trays and carts in anticipation of incoming orders, ensuring readiness for prompt service.
• Retrieve food and beverage items from the kitchen, verifying order completeness with all items.
• Warmly welcome guests by serving beverages, breads, and butter to enhance dining experience and replenish as needed.
• Refresh tables and reset service-ware for a welcoming, immaculate environment.
• Replenish and restock side-stands to maintain smooth operations.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Prepare food and beverage trays and carts in anticipation of incoming orders, ensuring everything is ready for prompt service
• Retrieve food and beverage items from the kitchen, verifying that each order is complete with all food, beverages, alcoholic drinks, and condiments
• Warmly welcome guests by serving beverages, breads, and butter to enhance their dining experience, and graciously replenish as needed to ensure their satisfaction
• Swiftly refresh tables, and diligently reset all service-ware to create a welcoming and immaculate environment
• Replenish and restock side-stands, to maintain smooth operations

Physical Demands

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Manual dexterity of hands to use food and beverage equipment
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurant and kitchen areas

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Food Handlers Certification required
• No prior experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred

pay rate per hour: $16.50- $17 per hour
