Job summary

Spire Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and serve food with warmth within our Food & Beverage team at our hotels and resorts. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities in a hospitality career.

You will engage guests, manage beverage orders, and maintain orderly bar operations. Qualifications include a high school diploma, Bartending School certification, and at least 1 year in a similar role with required Alcohol Beverage Server and Food Handlers

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year Bartender experience in a similar role (hotel experience preferred).
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and attentiveness.
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest.
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring products are stocked and accessible.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide our guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and thoughtful attentiveness
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and readily accessible
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas

Physical Demands:

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50‑75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Completion of Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 1‑year Bartender experience in a similar role, size of operation required, hotel experience preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required

Compensation:

• $9 - $9.75 per hour (Tipped Position)
