Job summary

Li'l Rizzo's in Ozark, MO is seeking a friendly Dishwasher/Busser to remove used tableware between courses, clear and reset tables after guests leave, and assist servers with timely seating and smooth service throughout each shift.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and communicate in the predominant language of our guests; no prior restaurant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as part of dishwashing and bussing duties.
• Ability to communicate with guests and team members in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• No previous restaurant experience required; willingness to learn and be flexible in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove used tableware between courses.
• Clear tables after guests leave and reset tables for the next seating.
• Take soiled items to dish room and help with organization in the dish drop-off area.
• Maintain clean work areas, including tabletop surfaces, chairs, booths, and floors.
• Assist servers and hostess to ensure efficient seating and guest service.
• Be available to fill in as needed to support smooth operation under supervision.

Job Summary:

Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave.

Activities & Responsibilities:

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Remove used tableware between courses.
• Clear tables after guests.
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area.
• Between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed.
• Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
• Thank guests as they are leaving
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
