Job summary

Prairie Knights Casino in Fort Yates, ND is seeking a hardworking Busser to support dining room operations. Responsibilities include removing used items, clearing tables, refilling supplies and assisting waitstaff as needed.

Applicants should be 18+, able to obtain Tribal Non Gaming license, and hold a Food Handlers Certification. Hospitality experience is preferred, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be age 18 or older.
• Must qualify for a Tribal Non Gaming license.
• Obtain and maintain current Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating.
• Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables.
• Straightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained ones.
• Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners.
• Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table.
• Refilling drinking glasses with water.
• Bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy.
• Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day.
• Maintain Title 31 compliance accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PREREQUISITES

General: Must be age 18 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Non Gaming license. Obtain and maintain current Food Handlers Certification.

Education: Education and/or training in hospitality experience preferred. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.

Experience: Previous work experience as a busser preferred.

Physical: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, moving and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, grasping, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.
