• Refilling napkins, salt and pepper shakers and other condiments on the dining table.
• Refilling drinking glasses with water.
• Bringing out meal orders if servers are busy.
• Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day.
• Good hygiene to help you maintain food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure you keep serving items and the restaurant/kitchen clean and tidy.
• Ability to multi-tasking and organization skills to manage a wide variety of tasks and maintain eatery standards.
• Performs other duties as necessary and assigned.

SUPERVISES: None

GENERAL FUNCTION: A dishwasher/busser completes janitorial and support tasks in the restaurant. These tasks make sure tableware, utensils, cooking equipment and kitchen and dining environment are clean and ready for diners and cooking staff.

DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES:

• Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating.
• Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables.
• Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners.
• Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table.
• Refilling drinking glasses with water.
• Bringing out meal orders if servers are busy.
• Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day.
• Good hygiene to help you maintain food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure you keep serving items and the restaurant/kitchen clean and tidy.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Eighteen (18) years of age.

OTHER:

Must obtain non-gaming license upon hire. Ability to handle diverse situations and/or people. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent guest service skills. Flexible availability; able to work any shifts including occasional short notice shifts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach and lift up to thirty (30) pounds or more. Ability to carry up to twenty (20) pounds on a continual basis. Ability to push or pull fifty (50) pounds or more. Standing or walking for extended periods of time. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature and air quality. Potential hazards may include but not limited to: slipping and tripping.
