Job summary

Prairie Knights Casino in Fort Yates, ND seeks a guest‑focused server for both full‑time and part‑time shifts. You will take drink and food orders, upsell specials, relay orders to bartenders, serve guests, and handle payments while maintaining Title 31 compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or older and qualify for Tribal Non-Gaming License.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; must be able to communicate in the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an assigned section/station from the Food & Beverage Shift Supervisor at the start of the work shift.
• Receive drink and/or food orders from guests, upsell and suggestively sell by answering any questions about specials offered.
• Relay orders to the Bartender and/or culinary staff by swiping the micros card.
• Serve orders to guests, collect money, and make change.
• Ensure guests' expectations are exceeded.
• Maintain RBS certification and practice this knowledge daily.
• Maintain, stock, and keep assigned sections clean; display teamwork with co-workers when needed in other sections.
• Handle all monies collected, waste tickets, comp tickets and charge tickets needed for drop procedure at the end of the shift.
• Assist in other departments when necessary or for training.
• Maintain Title 31 compliance accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of bar drinks and wines helpful; must be outgoing, have a pleasant personality, and a strong sense of guest service; must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to stand and exert fast‑paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours; must have good balance, be able to bend and kneel, and can lift trays of drinks frequently weighing up to 20 pounds.
