Job summary

Renishaw is seeking a Business Systems Support Analyst to provide technical support for employees across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. You will troubleshoot IT issues, manage user accounts, support Microsoft 365, and assist with technology projects at our Americas HQ in West Dundee, IL, supporting sites across the region.

The role emphasizes on-site work with a strong focus on ITIL-aligned ticketing, Windows/O365 management, and ERP support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT preferred with Microsoft certifications encouraged.
• Experience in a multi-site help desk environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, AD and Azure cloud services required.

Job Description

The main responsibility of the Business Systems Support Analyst is providing technical support for employees across desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, software applications, and network services. This role is responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, managing user accounts and access, supporting Microsoft 365, and assisting with technology projects. We are seeking an individual who is looking to broaden their horizons and be involved in a variety of areas within information technology. This is an onsite role working at our Americas HQ in West Dundee, Illinois supporting employees at sites across the entire region.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Resolve helpdesk tickets and
• Provide telephone/remote technical support to end users
• Provide on-site troubleshooting, training, and tech support at the desktop level
• Assist with network issues
• Configuration and support of basic desktop, notebook, and network printers, software and hardware\
• Resolve helpdesk tickets and document processes and procedures using ITIL compliant ticket management system
• Install, setup, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems on desktop and notebook PCs including the Microsoft 365 suite
• Create user accounts and workspace set-up
• Support an ERP system for a sales and distribution organization
• Perform administrative tasks on VOIP PBX as well as setup and support various smartphone OS
• Other duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Minimum Bachelor of science in Information Technology preferred; relevant courses and Microsoft certification(s) strongly encouraged

• Prior experience in a help desk environment (end-user support) in a multi-site environment strongly recommended
• Prior experience working with (and understanding of) Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems including Active Directory and Azure Cloud services
• This position may require the use of, and access to, export-controlled data. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access such export-controlled data. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws

Preferred

• Prior experience supporting a virtualized multi-site corporate network
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Bi-lingual in Spanish or Portuguese

• Proficient problem solving and analytical ability
• In-depth knowledge of wired and wireless networking
• Good verbal and written communication skills to provide technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically and create IT documentation
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Interpersonal skills: Verbal, Written, Conflict-management

Compensation Range (Annual) $65,000 to $75,000(depending on level and location) In an effort to comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates regarding cash compensation, Renishaw sets standard pay ranges for all U.S.-based roles as established by job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, as well as geographic location, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
