In a typical day as a Business Systems Engineer, you would:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
2. Conduct data analysis and apply statistical methods to solve supply chain problems.
3. Generate reports and visual data for supply chain operations to inform decision-making.
4. Maintain records and reporting systems for manufacturing coordination.
5. Manage business configurations for MES and ERP systems (SAP).
6. Write business requirement documents for IT system improvements.
7. Conduct user acceptance testing for new code deployments.
8. Support new product setups and virtual/pilot builds.
9. Troubleshoot system issues in operations.
10. Extract and translate data from databases for engineering and business improvements.
11. Represent Manufacturing in projects and initiatives.
12. Communicate with management, manufacturing, and partners regarding processes, standards, and problem resolution.
13. Participate in teams to develop reliable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions for products from NPI to end-of-life.

If you are…

• Holding a Bachelor's degree in information systems, statistics, physics, or related fields.
• Knowledgeable in statistical coding and data visualization (R, Python, etc.).
• Familiar with engineering tools and software for manufacturing process automation.
• Skilled in analytical and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledgeable about database structures and coding languages (SQL, etc.).
• Excellent in written and verbal communication in English and local language.
• Capable of effectively communicating manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiating options.
