Title: Loan Originations System Developer – Automotive Lending

Location: Remote / Temp-to-Perm (Applicants must reside in Georgia, Texas, Arizona, or Michigan)

This remote role offers the opportunity to become an expert in system configurations within the client’s loan origination system by applying your understanding of automotive lending workflows and your technical interests in operational excellence.

Position Overview:

The Loan Originations System Developer ensures the stability, integrity, and continuous improvement of the company's loan origination system (LOS), Defi. Responsibilities include configuring business rules, supporting system users, managing interfaces, and resolving issues to enhance system performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of the LOS, utilizing configurable features to support workflows, partner integrations, credit and pricing policies, and communication processes.
2. Solution Development: Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions addressing business challenges within the system.
3. Documentation: Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and policies.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal departments and external partners to design, maintain, and support system integrations.
5. Project Support: Assist with system upgrades and the implementation of new business processes and policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in the domestic indirect automotive lending industry, in either a business or technical role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript coding.
• Experience creating and maintaining workflows and rules; ability to define interface APIs from a business perspective and collaborate with technical teams.
• Knowledge of SQL queries and XML.
• Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio or Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
