Job summary

Revel IT in New Albany, Ohio is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity. You will lead requirements elicitation sessions with Business teams, Product Owners and IT stakeholders, and document current-state and future-state processes to define the work within the teams you support.

You will translate business needs into detailed requirements, facilitate workshops to define MVP and future-state capabilities, and partner with vendors to evaluate system capabilities and gaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BA experience leading enterprise system implementations.
• Experience in Agile and Hybrid project delivery.
• Experience gathering requirements across multiple business functions.
• Experience in sourcing/merchandising/inventory/customs/trade compliance in retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops to define MVP, must-have, and future-state capabilities.
• Partner with solution vendors and implementation partners to evaluate system capabilities and identify process gaps.
• Analyze impacts to upstream and downstream systems, integrations, reports, and operational procedures.
• Support data mapping activities across source systems, interfaces, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in defining master data, compliance data, trade classifications, inventory, customs, and shipment-related requirements.
• Create and maintain process documentation, requirements traceability, decision logs, and project artifacts.
